Easy Configuration:

The purpose of the program is to help reduce time sorting email responses and keep email lists clean automatically. It does this by

function b)
scanning delivery error responses from your ISP, isolating problem email addresses and deleting them from your email list/database.

function a)
delete email addresses from your list/database when recipients have requested that their address be removed.

Because emails are held in an access database you can easily manipulate and adjust Zygote to work with your existing programs and databases.
Zygote also can fully integrate with your email application.

To configure Zygote all you have to do is set the text in the properties tab of Zygote and set a schedule or manually get the email.

So if we send an email to x@x.com, our ISP will return a message with subject heading "mail delivery failure". This is because x@x.com is a non existent address. So all we do is type "mail delivery failure" in the text box in the b) section of the properties tab and whenever we retrieve email into the database, Zygote checks for an email with a subject heading of "mail delivery failure" and scans it, finds x@x.com and removes it. You can have three subject headings because this gives you flexibility (you may have three ISP' that return undelivered messages with different subject headings...etc....)

Also if we send an email to billgates@microsoft.com and he replies with a subject heading of "deleteme", because we have said in the bottom of our email to him that if he wants to be removed from the email list just reply with a subject heading of "deleteme", then when we retrieve email into our database, Zygote checks for an email with subject heading "deleteme", finds out the senders email address and deletes it from the database/list.

Together functions a) and b) go a long way in saving you time and keeping your lists clean.

The easiest way is to quickly read the help file(click on help>help file or double click on c:\zygote\zygote.hlp) and understand what functions you are configuring). But there are only two core functions so this should take no time at all.
